We're supporting our pals in UNBEGUN at their Edinburgh album launch at the end of August.

Everyone loves a dance in a (supposedly) haunted basement, right?

Expect our punkiest set up, making klezmer as loud and energetic as we can.

Balkanarama @ Belle Angele

Featuring magnificent polyphonic Balkan singing by Samodiva Nestya, and raw passionate klezmer performed by Och Vey this unique event will take you on a mesmerising and wild journey around the Balkans. And it will let you go loose. And it will make you dance until it nearly does you in. Don't say we didn't warn you! Do say: Balkanarama, I wouldn't miss you for the world!

The Piano Shed

We're playing at THE PIANO SHED (beside Tupiniquim at the top of Middle Meadow Walk) at 7pm. This will be a more relaxed semi-acoustic set. It's free, but we're happy to take donations!

As Israel continues its siege and bombardment of Gaza, people and groups such as @pal_action are taking action against the UK companies who are profiting from genocide. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the costs and legal fees for this vital work.

Rhyze Mushrooms farm warming party

We are very excited to be playing the farm warming party of our pals at Rhyze, Edinburgh's very own radical mycology project. Mushrooms are integral to jewish cuisine, from mushroom kugel to mushroom-barley soup. Likewise, anti-capitalism is , from Emma Goldman to Karl Marx and the Jewish labour bund, a much revered Jewish tradition. So the opportunity to play the launch party of an anticapitalist musroom co-op is truly something we could not resist.
